I am a complete beginner. Where should I start?
Start with our Fundamentals path which covers safety, wood identification, and tool basics. You’ll complete two mini-projects to build confidence before moving to intermediate modules.
Recommended tools: a block plane, cabinet scraper, card scraper, sanding blocks (120–320 grit), and a set of chisels.
What tools do I need to begin the course?
We recommend a starter kit: block plane, #4 smoothing plane, cabinet scraper, scraper burnisher, chisel set (6mm–25mm), mallet, flush-cut saw, clamps, and PVA wood glue.
Optional but helpful: random-orbit sander and a dust extractor.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If the course is not for you, request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided less than 30% of the content has been completed.
Do I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes. You’ll receive a verifiable digital certificate after passing the final assessment. Pro students can also schedule a live portfolio review to earn an advanced badge.
How much time should I commit each week?
Most learners spend 3–5 hours weekly. Every module is chunked into 10–20 minute lessons so you can learn in short, focused sessions.
Is there mentor support or a community?
Yes. You’ll have access to a private community with mentors who answer questions within 24 hours. Weekly live Q&A sessions help you unstick fast.
Where can I source eco-friendly finishes and materials?
We provide a curated supplier list inside the course. Look for waterborne varnishes, shellac flakes, and plant-based oils. Always review VOC ratings and safety data sheets.
Do you ship starter kits internationally?
Yes, we ship to most countries. Shipping time averages 7–14 business days. Digital course access is instant regardless of shipping.
How long do I have access to the course?
You get lifetime access, including all future updates. Downloadable resources are included, and you can stream lessons on mobile and desktop.
Do you teach structural repairs and joint restoration?
Yes. Intermediate modules cover mortise-and-tenon fixes, dowel repairs, chair racking solutions, and loose joint stabilization using hide glue and modern adhesives.
Are there discounts or scholarships available?
We run seasonal discounts and offer a limited number of need-based scholarships each quarter. Join the newsletter to be notified first.
